The Gerald R. Ford Presidential Foundation is honored to host Gen. Brent Scowcroft (Ret.) at the J.W. Marriott in Grand Rapids, Michigan as part of the 2012 William E. Simon Lecture Series. Registration is now available online.

Zach Hope, grandson of Bob & Dolores Hope, kicked-off the Museum’s February 8 – June 10, 2012 traveling exhibition on the life and legacy of the great entertainer and public servant. The World Golf Hall of Fame created the exhibit with help from the Hope family.

Soon after Mrs. Ford’s passing, preparations began for a Remembrance Week honoring a beloved First Lady and founder of the Betty Ford Center. Services were held in Palm Desert, California and East Grand Rapids, Michigan, concluding with her interment at the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Museum.

One of President Ford’s greatest strengths as a leader was his self-confidence and sense of security around others. The advisers he appointed included a large number of extremely bright, capable people who would go on after the Ford administration to render further outstanding services and successes.
